Make History come to life with this FREE ‘Black Power: Great Black Leaders & Liberators’ children workshop. With its emphasis on Black racial identity, pride and self-determination, Black Power influenced everything from popular culture to education to politics.

This workshop will inspire young people to learn about great leaders and liberators who contributed to world history.

In this session, we will explore the life and legacy of Malcolm X.

The workshop will last 1 hour from 16:30 to 17:30 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)

The workshop is aimed at young people aged 8 – 16 years old.

The workshop will take place on Thursday 21 November 2024 from 16:30 to 17:30 GMT at The Black Cultural Centre Islington, 16–18 Hornsey Road, London, N7 7BT. Nearest tube station is Holloway Road (Piccadilly Line).
