To celebrate Black Music Month and the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, Black History Studies presents the West London Premiere screening of The Killing of the 5th Element: A Hip-Hop Documentary.

Rap has created many genres, however, The Golden Age of hip-hop is regarded as the best era in hip-hop. The Killing of the 5th Element, examines the lost element of “consciousness” and knowledge in today’s music; and answers the question, is music just fun entertainment or a movement that can spark change?
