PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER

1. The Seller

The seller is Black History Studies Ltd, PO Box 45189, London, N15 3XP, United Kingdom.

Black History Studies Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online.

2. Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cheque, postal orders or bank transfers made out to Black History Studies Limited. Black History Studies Limited is the name that will appear on your card statements. For bank-to-bank transfers, please call for more details.

Orders paid by cheque will be dispatched once the cheque has cleared. Cheques and Postal Order (UK ONLY) should be made payable to Black History Studies Limited, and please remember to write your full name on the back of the cheque.

3. Security

You can be confident that your credit or debit card details are safe and secure as all payments are collected using the PayPal secure online payment system.

4. Delivery

Orders will be despatched within three(3) working days after payment unless otherwise advised. Shipping and Postal costs are included in the price when paying online.

All deliveries are sent via Royal Mail postal service. UK clients: Orders will be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery service. European and International clients: Orders will be shipped via Royal Mail Airsure service (7-14 days). Please allow enough time for delivery of your order.

Should delivery prove unsuccessful and the items remain uncollected from your local post office and is subsequently returned to us, we will arrange to resend the item. However, postage costs will be recharged.

Black History Studies Limited does not take responsibility for delayed, lost or damaged items in the post.

5. Customs

Goods ordered for delivery overseas may be subject to import duties and taxes. Any additional charge for customs clearance or local duties or taxes must be borne by you.

6. Returns

It is your responsibility to check goods on receipt for damage or any discrepancy with the items ordered. To return goods please notify us by email to publications@blackhistorystudies.com clearly stating your name, the order reference number and details of the product fault or error.

Goods must be returned in an ‘as supplied’ condition. We will accept claims for damaged goods providing (a) they are made in writing within three (3) days of receipt of goods and (b) the goods are returned to us for inspection.

No refunds or exchanges will be made until goods have been received by us. For your protection, we suggest that you use a recorded-delivery service. Goods lost in transit will be subject to investigation by Royal Mail. If investigation shows the customer’s claim to be valid, a replacement consignment will be dispatched in due course.

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in carrying out our obligations which is caused wholly or partly by Act of God, delay in transportation, labour disputes, fire, flood, war, accident, Government action, inability to obtain adequate stocks, material, equipment, fuel, power transportation or any cause beyond our control or beyond the control of our servants or agents.
