These workshops aim to dispel misconceptions, foster appreciation, and celebrate the rich cultural and historical legacy of Africa. By delving into the origins of human civilization, the great empires, and the diverse contributions of African societies, we can gain a deeper understanding of the continent’s significance in shaping the world we live in today. Let us embark on this enlightening journey together and celebrate the enduring spirit of Africa.
Each workshop will last 1.5 hours from 12:00 to 13:30 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
The workshops are aimed at young people aged 8 – 16 years old.

The Ashanti Kingdom, known for its rich cultural heritage and organised society, played a significant role in shaping the region’s history. This workshop aims to highlight the inspiring leadership of Yaa Asantewaa and shed light on the vibrant traditions and contributions of the Ashanti people.
